I reviewed Monaco 2
New piece up on Entertainium. I reviewed Monaco 2, the sequel to the excellent cooperative heist game from 2013. It's very much more of the same, but not a bad thing when it's still good.
The original Monaco game was actually the very first review code I requested while working for Entertainium. Wasn't quite as involved with the site as I am now (was just a contributor sending drafts over email; didn't have access to the CMS), but I'd written enough that I figured I might as well take my shot and see what happened. Almost expected to get ignored because I had no idea how I should be writing an email requesting review code (if there's a proper method, I still don't know it). It was one those big moments where it felt like I was actually doing The Job.
It was fun to review the sequel all these years later. Wild to think how much has changed since then.
