Revisiting abandoned drafts

I've recently been tinkering with old drafts for pieces I shelved for one reason or another (usually time). I've got that burning desire to write, but starting new projects is hard and intimidating. Going back to try and finish things I've left partially written is a good solution right now since it skips the hard part of starting something and instead moves into "how do I proceed past where I got stuck before." With some of these drafts being a year or more old it's definitely a challenge to pick up wherever I left off. Practically starting fresh in some cases.

I feel like this might be a better option for me than freewriting to warm up since I usually only get a sentence or two in before I don't know what to write anymore. Feels like it works better when I've got a jumping off point tor amble about. Otherwise it's hard to just turn my brain off and let the words flow, you know?

No idea where they'll go if I finish any of these drafts. Most likely here. Don't have to worry about them being a little messier then. Maybe over on the site if I feel they're good enough? Depends on whether I want to deal with potential SEO bullshit with headlines and the like. Have at least one draft I'm poking away with a preferred title that wouldn't fly if I kept it as is.
