Website's slowly coming together
Resumed work on my website this week. Finally started reading HTML for People and it's been a huge help in getting a proper foothold on the basics. Kept putting off doing any work on the site because I figured it would be a whole ordeal, but it's been pretty straightforward so far. Feels good to finally have something more than a placeholder there. Hard part now is deciding what to fill it out with.
Moved the links page from here over there to make it easier to maintain since I was already using some HTML for the button wall. Slowly putting together a list of links to my work so the site can serve as a portfolio. Also been backing up blog posts so I can, if ever necessary, just move the blog onto the website directly. Adds just enough friction that I'd rather avoid that (lot more setup involved), but good to have as an option should the need arise.
Really gotta figure out how to set up the automatic light and dark theme (and port it here, ideally). Just ported the blog's CSS over to try and maintain some semblance of continuity, but it doesn't come with that by default. That's a longer term project. Trying to take things slow so I don't get overwhelmed.
